On Tuesday, September 24th from from 7 EST (6 CST/4 PST), Poets House presents, “Crosswords: Eliana Hernández-Pachón, Robin Myers, and Mónica de la Torre.” Writer Eliana Hernández-Pachón will read from her newest collection, The Brush (Archipelago Books, 2024), a polyvocal poem that speaks to the Colombian massacre in the village of El Salado between February 16 to 21, 2000.
Following Myers’s reading, poet and translator Mónica de la Torre will moderate a discussion with Eliana Hernández-Pachón and Robin Myers, translator of Hernández-Pachón’s poetry. This event is part of Poets House's Crossroads series, featuring poetry in translation
